the most shocking moment in my life

to be frank, the most shocking moment in my life is when i registered as an officer cadet in my current university. the date that i will not forgot which is 16th of may 2009, the day that i learn very much and very fast. it teach me how is the life, from the other side of view.

at the first time of beeing in my current lovely university, i think it is just like other universities registration day. but my universities are unique and definately different from the others. the registration process runs smoothly, but the hell started when my parents "GIVE" me totally to the university.

all of the time, from point to point i had to run, sweats never ends, and people around are not so friendly, all the way shouting at me and the others.it was my shocking momment in my life.

but, now from the shocking moment of my life, i think it was a good start for me to be the good officer cadet. it teach me about life, discipline and cooperation among my friends.

5 things i can't live without it!

The most valuable things that i will not forget to bring along when i hanging out is my precious dslr, Nikon D90. As i love photography, everything i see in my life i like to share with others via the photos i captured like the scenery, photos of public figure, living things, such as the plants and animals.

secondly, when i go out, i never left behind my watch. The watch is very important for me and i am trying to be more punctual and can manage my time better. Other than that, it can reminds me about the prayer time.


in addition, the handkerchief is one of the important things in my pocket. As a photographer, it is important to have a handkerchief especially when shooting on the mid day. I feel better when i swipe my sweat rather than been uncomfortable with the sweat on myself.

the pen and small notebook is other things that is also valuable for me. it is use when i want to jot down the important things of some event that can been used for my photo. for example, when and where the picture is taken, who is the person in the photos and others.

Lastly, another important things for me to bring along is my mobile phone. i think, for sure it is very important to all people nowadays to connect others. i am not just can make a call and texting, but i can also read my emails, remind me of event i must attend, and many other things i can do with the smartphone.

Marilah kite sama2 memeriahkan sambutan ulang tahun TD di Dataran Merdeka yg diadakan pada hari ini 4 mac 2011 hingga 6 mac 2011. pelbagai acara menarik telah disediakn untuk tatapan para pelancong dari dalam dan luar negara. Dengan Tagline "1 ANGKATAN : TETAP GAGAH TETAP SETIA" acara ini dijangkakan menrima kunjungan ribuan rakyat Malaysia dan pelancong asing.
berikut adalah tentatif program yang telah dirancang :

my superhero!!

During my childhood, i love the characters of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle or TMNT. They are my SUPERHEROES!

Main characters of the TMNT.

I think everyone must know about this famous cute but hustle superhero. This character had started well known around the 80's from the comics before they were commercialize at the TV's. These characters are originated from the turtles which have been mutated by a mysterious radioactive.The turtles appearance are humanoid have one large thumb and two large fingers. Although they have a humanoid shape, the turtles have remained in their turtle state. This means they have a large shell that protects them from damage and are also very good swimmers. 

One of the main reason that i love them very much is that, these characters are very unique than any other superheroes because they work as a team to overcome their enemies. This motivate me to give cooperation towards my friends and colleagues in order to completing any of the task given. Like the said goes "Together We Stand". The main characters of TMNT are consist of Leo, Mike, Don, and Raph.

LEO-The brave leader and loyal student of martial arts, Leonardo wears a blue mask. He is the eldest of the four and the most skilled fighter of the turtles. Leonardo was named after the Italian polymath, scientist, engineer, inventor, anatomist, and painter, Leonardo da Vinci.

MIKE- Easy-going and free-spirited, Michelangelo wears an orange mask. While he loves to relax, this Turtle also has an adventurous and creative side. He's something of the "surfer" boy. He is named after the Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, poet, and engineer Michelangelo Buonarroti.

DON- The brilliant scientist, inventor, engineer, and technological genius, Donatello wears a purple mask.. Donatello is perhaps the least violent Turtle, preferring to use his intellect to solve conflicts. He is named after the sculptor Donatello.

RAPH- The team's bad boy, Raphael wears a red mask. He has an aggressive nature and seldom hesitates to throw the first punch. He is an intense fighter. His personality can be alternately fierce and sarcastic, and oftentimes delivers humor. Still, he is intensely loyal to his brothers and sensei. He is named after the Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance, Raphael.

The other parts that made me interested with TMNT are their martial arts skills shown to beat their enemies. All the way they fight are mostly can be considered and plausible. These turtles have been trained  in the art of ninjitsu by their SENSEI,The Rat, and are experts in combat and in using many different kinds of weapons. They have their own weapon which are:

Leonardo – Paired Katanas

Raphael – Paired Sais
Michelangelo – Paired Nun chucks
Donatello – Bo Staff

65 maut dalam gempa di Christchurch

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand: Gempa bumi kuat mengegarkan satu daripada bandaraya terbesar New Zealand hari ini, menyebabkan bangunan runtuh dan bas terhempap dan sekurang-kurangnya 65 orang maut dalam bencana alam terburuk negara itu.

Ia adalah gempa bumi kedua terkuat yang melanda Christchurch, bandaraya dengan 350,000 penduduk, dalam tempoh lima bulan walaupun gegaran bermagnitud 6.3 itu menyebabkan lebih banyak kerosakan berbanding gempa bumi bermagnitud 7.1 pada September tahun lalu.

Lebih 100 ikan paus mati terdampar di pantai New Zealand

WELLINGTON: Lebih 100 ikan paus ditemui mati terdampar di satu kawasan pantai terpencil di New Zealand, lapor pegawai Jabatan Konservasi Hidupan Liar negara itu, semalam.

Pengunjung ke pantai berkenaan terkejut apabila 107 ikan paus bergelimpangan mati di Pulau Stewart, di perairan Kepulauan Selatan.
Jurucakap jabatan itu berkata, sebahagian besar paus itu sudah mati manakala 48 lagi masih bernyawa tetapi usaha untuk menenggelamkan haiwan itu semula ke laut amat tipis.
“Kami sedang mengejar masa untuk menenggelamkan paus ini dengan segera sekurang-kurangnya sebelum 10 hingga 12 jam lagi berikutan keadaan cuaca amat panas," katanya.

I wish to......

There are many interesting places I want to go. One of it is the country located about 1250 miles from southeast of Australia, which is New Zealand. The population of the New Zealanders whom also called the Kiwis is estimated about 4 076 140 and the capital is Wellington. This country is about the size of Colorado in U.S.  The history stated that the Maori inhabited New Zealand around year 1000.In 1904, New Zealand become part of the British Common Wealth. Some of the interesting facts about this country are:

•          First place in the world to allow women to vote

•          Longest Place Name still in use:

Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaunga-horonukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu name for a hill, 305 metres (1,001 ft) high, close toPorangahau, south of Waipukurau in southern Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.

•          It is also called “Aotearoa”- A Maori name means “long white cloud”

•          The famous rugby team : All Blacks

What makes I felt in love with New Zealand?

There are many attractions and things to do here. One of it is visiting the National Park. All over the country, there are about 14 National Parks.  As my hobby is photography, I think it is very suitable for me to capturing landscape scene. With the well managed National Park by the authorities, it convinced me that the trip will not be disserved.  They protect unique and beautiful areas that can be enjoyed responsibly by the public. List of the National Parks are as shown below.

Other than that, there are also places where we can try ice hiking. The Fox & Franz Joseph Glaciers which is located at West Coast is one of the most suitable places to do hiking. These glaciers are among the most convenient to visit in the world because at the low altitude the climate is temperate.  It is also a unique glacier while many glaciers around the world have been retreating, the Franz Joseph still flows almost to sea level. The Franz Josef Glacier descends from the Southern Alps down into temperate rainforest just 300 meters above sea level. From the nearby town, you can arrange to go ice hiking. Alternatively, it’s easy to walk to the terminus of the glacier. A scenic flight will provide a different view of this giant river of ice.

Furthermore, in Auckland there is an adventurous sport which is called SkyWalk. SkyWalk is a new adventure activity where I can take an informative journey on top of the Auckland’s famous tower;SkyTower. I can get the best view of the harbor nearer and any other fascinating landmarks from 192m above the ground! There are no hand rails on this walk and it just a full body harness and overhead safety line to keep us safe. Actually, we just to get experience as the buildings cleaners.

In addition, the most attractive activity is the kiwi spotting. The best known of New Zealand birds, the kiwi is nocturnal and flightless. There are six varieties of kiwi, even though they can be difficult to spot in the wild. However, there are a number of Kiwi Houses around the country.  One of it is Stewart Island. It is one of the best places in New Zealand to see the elusive kiwi. On this kiwi spotting, we will be guided by the local Maori to get close and personal as one can with these endangered birds. Watching these birds in the flesh is as much exhilarating as it is empowering.

Moreover, New Zealand waters contain a variety of whales and are great for whale watching.  Kaikoura is one of the few locations in the world where whales can be seen from the shore. For an even closer look, visitors can board a whale watching tour. Sperm whales, humpback whales, orca and a variety of dolphins live in the nutrient-rich waters off the coast of Kaikoura. Snorkeling with seals and shark diving are other local activities. This activity also can be unforgettable moment in my life as I can see the whales live with my eyes.

Lastly, there are hundreds of activities that I can do in New Zealand. It will be more interesting if I can get there with my family and friends. I hope that, one day I will be there. Who wants to follow me?

Dear ibu and ayah

I am so glad to have both of you as my parents, for me, I am too bad to be your son. So many thing you had sacrifice for me. Your kindness cannot be paid throughout my life.

Since I was at the childhood, you send me to school every day, just to ensure I get the formal education. Besides that you teach me the fardhu ain to be a religious person.

Ayah, as you were in the air force you treat me with the discipline, at the first time,, it was so bored. All the way I must follow the rules. It is a kind of “skema”. But now, I know that, without discipline all of our plan will become ruined.

Ibu, during my child time, I like to make our house become messy. You scold me for that. Every day you ask me to sweep around our house. I just ignore it. But, day by day, I learn something that tidiness and cleanliness is important for our health.

On the time both of you perform the hajj last year, i learned very much in managing the family. now i realized why and what you advice me before. It is difficult to not have my parent. Everything i must done alone. During my final exam, i don't have anyone to call for moral support like i have done before that. Now, I am realized.

Until now, both of you always fulfill my needs. But sometimes I don’t.

I am always trying to make both of you proud of me, but I think I failed. So, please accept me as I am now. Pray for my success in my life and hereafter.

And don’t forget, I always remember both of you when I am happy and sad.

i think it it not too late for me to post about my new year resolution. Better late than never.

the story behind "miang2kucing"

My blog, which called miang2kucing (pronounced miang-miang kucing) is actually originated from lyrics of a song of the black and white film "Aksi Kucing". The film was directed by well known Omar Rojik in 1966. Actors that made this film was succeeded were the one and only Aziz Satar, Zaiton, Ahmad Daud and many more. This film was published by Malay Film Productions Ltd.
Actually, several names playing around my mind during the time i want to create this blog. Suddenly, i heard this song playing on my radio. The melody is happening, and an ear-catching music. Although sometimes the lyrics sound funny, it can make me become not stressful to do blogging. That is one of the reasons why i choose “Miang2kucing” as my blog title.
The word “Miang kucing” is actually giving the meaning of an eager of cats to attract another cat of different sex for its biological needs. As for me, i used the terms “Miang” to attract people who love blogging to read my writings that i shared. From this blog, i can double up my number of friends, sharing the knowledge, and exchange of opinion.
In addition, “Kucing” or cats is one of the pets that our prophet Muhammad (PBUH) loves. That is why i am also loves cats very much. Actually, now i have 8 cats at home. I am lucky to have a family that love cats too. In this blog, i usually write about my cat, upload their photos to share among the bloggers who also loves cat.
Lastly, my “Miang2Kucing” blog is a little part of my life that i shared with other people. It is also can be a photo journal, as i am addicted to photography. From this blog i can connect with other people from all around the world, meet with new and old friends as well as do the task for ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC WRITINGS ;P
